The Great Escape
Servomuto

From old houses, closets, basements, emerge surprising creations of an interesting, ambiguous, aesthetic nature. A romantic language, at once ironic and irreverent, parlor prints contaminated by neo-Gothic motifs and military decorations passed through the hands of an anarchic craftsman give life to multiple compositions of unique pieces handmade by numerous hands, proudly from Salento.

New lamps assembled like old lampshades creatively rethinking techniques and garnish.

icon-archi The graphic designer Alessandro Poli and the architect Francesca De Giorgi are known as Servomuto. Together, they have been designing and producing lampshades since 2007. The duo takes its inspiration from vintage forms re-searched from an archive that dates back to more than 50 years ago. The two designers then re-interpret the old style of lampshades adding unusual trimmings.
