Gianmaria Sforza makes design to intelligently subvert the rules of an object’s construction. He is not satisfied with the creation of final forms, but he plans their physical or conceptual construction. His approach is a low-fi, through the use of low definition technologies, materials and components. With his apparently very “simple” objects he imprints the identity of the object itself (in terms of typology) and the significance of the initial idea. Objects-hooks with which to “capture” a user, who will complete the objects by using them and further transform them.
