Design in Italy in critical times

Paolo Imperatori

A series of vases made up of two different structures, an internal one and an external one, both visible at the same time. The outer part is made with a transparent blown glass; the inner one is a mirroring stainless steel mesh with laser cut embedded elements. The reflections and mirroring surfaces of the materials, amplified by the water, will join the colours of the flower arrangements placed in the vases.

icon-archi Paolo Imperatori studied at the FAUP of Porto and he graduated from the Politecnico di Milano. From 2002 to 2006 he was assistant to Vico Magistretti. In 2007 he opened his own studio in Milan working as interior and architecture designer. Paolo also produced furniture designs for different companies.
